The organization CARR was formed by concerned citizens of Lutz, FL. who live in the area of Hillsborough County where speed humps were installed on Crenshaw Lake Road in 2007 at the wishes of 168 people. Over 6,500 vehicle trips a day are on this road by citizens. 168 selfish homeowners have inconvenienced the rest of us by voting to install speed humps on this route between Dale Mabry Highway and U.S.41. Citizens who live in the immediate area and have to go over this road to get to work must stop to get over these monstrous humps that they call “Speed Cushions”. Many vehicles have bottomed out on these humps! On this website we will describe the Nazi style propaganda and tactics that were accomplished by Hillsborough County in their NTC (Neighborhood Traffic Calming) project. On December 10, 2007, there was an unfortunate fire just off Crenshaw Rd. and the house burned to the ground. Speed humps played a role the response time. Next time it could be a human life at risk due to delays because of speed humps. |
